Integration - From a People Perspective

Many organizations come to us with a situation they want to improve. They many times have the idea in a basic form "we want a telephone time clock", or, "we want to collect time and labor data for our employees out in the field".

The first thing we do is listen carefully to what needs to be done. "Where are your employees, how often to they have to enter the time and labor data, does their location need to be proven, should the calls only be made from approved locations."

What is the complexion of your organization?

Once we have a feeling for what needs to be done from a time and attendance / workforce management / payroll perspective, we provide education and guidance. You'll find it surprisingly interesting once you start understanding the fundamental ways transactions can be handled by the most ubiquitous terminal in the world - the telephone.

We then integrate the telephone into your organizations way of handling time and labor data collection. We do it only in places where it makes sense. We know where it does not and will quickly tell you so.

Where it does fit, you will find it is the only way to perform the task, from a practical and / or financial perspective.

In this integration phase, we role play. You play employee, we play phone system. One example might be a construction supervisor clocking in their work crew. Another might be a hospital wanting to use telephones as time terminals. Another might be a manufacturer wanting to implement absence reporting. Once basic role playing is done, and it only takes a short time to do it, we pick the call dialog templates that match best. In some cases one fits the bill and needs no alteration, in others, there may be more than one way to do it and we will show you the multiple methods. We compare them to one another and educate everyone involved in your team on how they work and any tailoring that can tune them to work well for your specific needs.

Telliris Attend uses a "data driven" call dialog, so any changes if needed don't require programming.

At the end of the integration, you'll have a clear idea on which employee groups will use telephone-based time and labor data collection, how they will use it (i.e. what they will punch into the phone), and the resultant transactions that will be sent to your time and attendance / workforce management system.

Prior to installation, you will be asked to exercise your system, before it leaves Telliris final system assembly. In this way, you know exactly what it does and how it does it, right down to the professionally recorded menus, prompts, and messages and the resultant transactions sent to your time and attendance system.
